Sign-in and Social time is from 9:00 until
10:00 a.m. Business meeting and Election of Officers and Board
members for 2006-2007 follows at 10:00 a.m. until noon. A Bar-B-Que
lunch will be provided at $5.00 each. After lunch, there will be a
tour of the Georgia Orchard on the Berry campus.
During the business
meeting, Paul Sisco, Regional Science Coordinator for the Southern
District of The American Chestnut Foundation , will speak about the
status of our Southern District efforts. You will not want to miss
his report.
All
members are invited to attend the Annual Meeting of the Georgia
Chapter of The American Chestnut Foundation on May 6, 2006. The
meeting is at Berry College in Rome, GA. Although there will be
directional signs once you get into the Berry campus grounds,
directions to the College may be found at :

Atlanta, Chattanooga and Birmingham, AL, so you have no excuse
(unless, of course, you aren’t computer savvy – in which case, let us
know and we’ll mail directions to you!)
