A bright, sunny day greeting the members of the
Georgia Chapter of The American Chestnut Foundation as they met for
their Spring membership meeting at Berry College in Rome, GA.
Over 60 members participated as they voted for new officers and heard
about the work being done to establish the chapter's first backcross
orchard at the site.

The officers for the 2006-07 term were
elected as well as new board members. Marty Cipollini and Ken
McDonald were added to the Board of Directors to serve a three year
